F.A.Q.: I do not
know anything about MP3/MP4 players… help!
To sum it up, your KEO player is
very much alike any other flash-memory device.
There are however some major differences from
flash-based thumb drives:
- KEO allows you not only to store but also to play
music and video files;
- it also has a capability to display pictures and
text files that you store on it;
- it will record your voice, play and record FM radio
stations;
- you can even play a few in-built games on it.
Audio files that are compatible with the player are
“.mp3” and “.wma”
Please note that many resources these days will offer
you files that are rights protected. These files will
require special conversion before your player will
be able to reproduce them.
You can also convert music from CDs that you own into
MP3 format to take it with you anywhere you take your
KEO.
For video files you will need to use AMV conversion
software, provided on a bundled CD to make your video
files compatible with the device and shrink the movie
size to fit the screen of a player.
On average your player will fit:
1Gb KEO – 250 songs or 3 full-length movies
2Gb KEO – 500 songs or 6-7 full length movies
