Support and Troubleshooting:
“How do I charge
my player?” and other battery issues
There are two ways to charge your
player – from power outlet and from PC.
Use the same USB cable to connect player to
the charger or to your computer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Leave your player “ON”
while charging! (there's a typo in some older
versins of "KEO Product Manual").
Normal charging time from Power Outlet is about 4-5
hours. Red light on the power adapter indicates that
charger is connected to the active power outlet. When
the player is being charged – green light on
the power adapter is ON.
Full charging time from PC is a little longer - about
5-6 hours.
Please do not leave the player charging for more than
recommended time, it may affect the lifetime of your
battery.
On some models the green light on the charger will
go OFF when the player is fully charged. On other
ones - to check if the batery is charged - simply
click any of the buttons to wake up the player's screen.
In case the battery animation is running - it is still
charging (3-5 hours).
It is fully charged when animation stops and/ or the
battery in the
right shows FULL when you unplug it from charger.
Generally, leave it charging for about 4-5 hours
and the battery will
be full again.
• If you have charged your player (in "ON"
state) from the power outlet for 3+ hours and your
battery indicator seems to stay very low – first,
try charging it from another outlet and then - from
PC via USB. Always leave its power switch in "ON"
position while charging.
• If your player is being charged only from
PC but would not charge from power adapter –
fill in and e-mail us the RMA
form indicating that your power adapter is malfunctioning.
Your replacement adapter will be shipped to you promptly.
• If your player battery indicator stays low,
but player stays capable of producing normal 12-15
hours of audio playback, this is an internal battery
indicator issue. You may wish to fill in and e-mail
us the RMA
form indicating that your battery indicator is
malfunctioning. We will assign you the RMA # and return
instructions, so you can send the player to us for
battery replacement.
• If your player would not charge neither from
power adapter, nor from PC – it is most likely
a battery problem. Please fill in the RMA
form and send it to us at: support@icetechusa.com
We will assign your case an RMA number and will send
you the detailed instructins on where to ship the
player for repairs.
• If player battery indicator shows “Fully
Charged” after being recharged for at least
3 hours but this charge would only allow you less
then 6 hours of continuous music (or 3 hours of continuous
video) playback – this is a battery problem.
Please fill in the RMA
form and send it to us at: support@icetechusa.com

“Low Battery, Bye-Bye” right before KEO
shuts down.
However it is important that you distinguish “Low
Battery ShutDown” from normal power saving screen
features.
Please make sure that in "SETTINGS" ->
