Support and Troubleshooting:
My computer does not “recognise”
the player or does not "see" it attached
at all…
This may happen due to one of the two following reasons:
1.)
When your computer does not even detect a connected
player, there may be a problem with a USB connection
between your player and computer. Try connecting your
player to another PC to check if it is only your computer
that won't "see" KEO.
In case you have a similar USB/miniUSB cable - try
to use it instead of the one that came with your player
- this will help to determine if it is a cable problem
or not.
If your player is not "found" by any computer
– there is probably a USB link issue. Please
fill in the RMA
form and send it to us at: support@icetechusa.com
We will assign your case an RMA number and will send
you the detailed instructins on where to ship the
player for repairs/replacement.
2.)
In case your computer can "see" the player
attached but would not recognise it as an removable
drive and keeps asking for drivers, you may indeed
need drivers for this player. They come as a part
of "MP4 Player Tools" software on your CD,
that came with the player. You can also download a
newer version of these tools here: MP3set4_00.zip,
(7Mb). After downloading and unzipping, run a
file SETUP.EXE and follow instructions.
In case this does not remedy the problem you are having
- please fill in the RMA
form and send it to us at: support@icetechusa.com
We will assign your case an RMA number and will send
you the detailed instructins on where to ship the
player for repairs/replacement.
